Budget

-)'(-ATTENTION ON DECK!!! SS Tittyhawk Budget Plan-)'(-

I have been crunching numbers and have several budgets in place. From bare bones, which would be a smaller than designed flight deck,NO Dj booth in the tower, drive it from TX to NV(2600 miles) which it's self has major logistics involved like new tires, break down risk, what then, and also pay a driver with a CDL (airbrakes and over 26000lbs) to drive it cross state lines. Also includes storage in Reno Area.
The other budget involves a full size, 60x20 flight deck with a functioning DJ booth, more lights and lasers, stocked bar with no labels for EVERYONE on deck, Big Rig Transport to the Playa from TX, storage in Reno area for 13 months, and many other details to list.
The Barebones version will be around Ten Thousand Dollars to build, transport and store. The mega dream version would be close to 30 grand. With those figures out there, We are aiming for middle ground and as we surpass our goal we can add on things based on the funds avaible.

Our current Target is: $18750 (may be less if we can get a bulk materials discount which i am looking into tomorrow)

What We Need & What You Get:
The bus HAS been obtained, 1989 Bluebird, so we just need help with these materials and transport support to Black Rock City, NV. This is a breakdown of the basics. Each catagory has several elements to them so under stand, like with the lumber and steel for example, that is an over all estimate for all the 2x4s and 2x2 iron and welding rods and so on. We have a materials list I will share in the coming weeks but here is the goal and what it will help get.

We will use the funds to get the following elements for the build:
-7200--lumber and steel for framing and decking for the flight deck/Hull and Tower

-400--hardware for securing flight deck (bolts, screws, ect)

-5500--Fuel & tranport fees (trailered by big rig to Playa for safe&secure shipment/I don't have CDL needed for air brakes on highway)

-200--Insurance for transport (When traveling from the Playa to storage, it has to be street legal)

-1000--Storage in the off season (location will never be disclosed...sorry)

-1050--Maintaince (tires/annual oil changes/brake inspections/over all keep it safe in transit and on the Playa)

-1400--Lights and lighting elements

-1000--sound elements

-1000--safety equip(fire ext/safety lights/ALL STOP alarm system/Rear&side cameras/Crew radios/first aid stations)

The Impact:
The greatest gift is a wonderful memory. I would build it for the people and have a bitching platform for 50+ people at a time to dance the night away in deep playa ops. NOT JUST DANCING and MUSIC EITHER I want to see maybe a fire conclave ride aboard one night doing shows then maybe one night be a slumber party with chill music, PJs and pillows all over the deck. Open your mind and give me input as to what is imaginable what is possible here. Hell I could even host the first plane landing on a carrier in the BRC ever. Well RC flying of course. Skydiver target area (maybe if someone arranged for it). The ideas are endless and with the communities help, and funding, it can be what YOU want it to be used for...like a bacon cook off at the trash fence on Friday at Sunset. But I SOOO want to just build it. What it is used for is up to the ones on the deck at the time. No matter what the occupants choose to do at any given moment will surely make a memory that could last a life time-)'(-

Other Ways You Can Help:
We ar always looking for volunteers to help build, assemble on the Playa, drivers, spotters, bartenders, ect. Visit our facebook page for more infor and to volunteer for the SS Tittyhawk flight crew.
