The Flight Crew, circa 1962

Volunteer Today!

We're having a great response from our post on Spark:

And even if you're not in the Pittsburg, TX area and you want to help the SS Tittyhawk, we've got lots of jobs for you to do on the playa.  I'm going to start posting responses here to show the support that the flight crew has for this project.

"I want in. Was in the Navy years ago and understand some of the crazy
traditions.." -- Gary B.

"cool.great idea. as a pilot,skydive,x-navy/x-army special forcesretiree, i'd like to be part of this. i work GPE usually but would
have time to help assemble it(could get early arrival). Did I mention
I'm also a retired electrical/nuclear engineer with
construction,electrical, piping, etc experience? i'm in/near
houston,tx." -- meltdown

"Yo! I'm in Berkeley, 3rd year burner, camped with Camp Faderade at
5:30 and G last year. Can't wait to join the crew! Let me know what
I can do!!" -- Aaron J.

"Hey man, I live a couple hours away over in dallas, but if there's anything Ican do to help with the build just let me know I can prolly make it
over there a couple weekends to help work on it if I can crash on a
couch/camp since driving 2 hours each way would only be worth it if I
was gonna work for a couple of days. I've got a lot of tools and
helped build the dallas CORE project last year as well as root society
3 years ago. Anyway looks like a killer mutant vehicle and I'd
totally love to be a part of the crew." -- Sambo

"Hi there, Love the idea. Not sure how I can help. Maybe assembly crew on the
playa? But also could come out to Texas for short periods. Have a
home in Austin at the lake but live in Arizona most of time. I own a
software company. Not a mechanical engineer or carpenter. I can use
some tools, paint, etc... Let me know how I can help. Kind regards," -- Sooz

"Hey, I would love to be apart of this. Would you need help putting it
together when we get there at all?" -- Alex

"Well hello! I am first time burner and believe I will have a better
experience if I get off my rear instead of standing around and
watching things happen. I will be volunteering at a few camps for BM
13 and would like to lend a few hands. I'm in California so ideas and
assembly crew is what I have to offer if you need it when the time
comes!! " -- missynatty

"Your project sounds awesome! Let me know if there's any way i could help. my only issue is i live
in south Africa most of the year. I was involved in building the south African core art project last
year. Also i should be in the US a few weeks before BM so if ther any role i
can help remotely until then and then just before the event let me
know. cheers" -- Shlomi P.
